  1. we could still have anal s*x

  2. Yeah I guess, I mean who cares? I don't see why women often seem so concerned with such things.

  3. Romantic interest! What a phrase! However, I've understood what you want to say. The word "romantic" should be replaced by "sexual". Actually there's no general answer to your question. All I can offer is a single item of my personal experience. At the age of 16, I was sexually involved with a woman two years older than myself. After a lot of s*x we naturally lost sexual interest in each other (it became boring). We parted through mutual discussion. I suggested that we still could be friends. But she was dead against it. So...

  4. Oops, sorry not a guy, but out of all the guys I "seriously" and "long term" dated, which is about 3, I was only able to remain friends with 1 of them, but it took a few months of not talking before that ever happened.   It's been 10 years since then and we still catch up with each other at least once a month, and no doubt, we will be at each others weddings!

  5. Can't see why not. It's good to have female friends you don't think about jumping into bed with all the time.

  6. It is possible. Depends - how much was it all 'romanticly' based.

  7. No.

  8. I'd want to remain on good terms, but I doubt I would have much interest in spending much time with her.

Guys don't (generally) want to remain "just friends" with ex-girlfriends unless it's a FWB type of agreement. When we get a new GF, the friendship is doomed anyway, so why maintain close contact?

  9. Sure, as long as I'm still single.  After marriage, anything more than occasional enjoyment of her company would probably land me in trouble.
