Guys, did you talk much as a Teenager? - I am female and am worried about my son?

He doesnt speak much at home to anyone, only out with his friends I have seen him having a good time I heard it was 'normal' for all teenage boys not too talk? or goe through some 'stage' Is this true??

I am a teenage girl and I don't talk that much too my parents, but you might want to talk to him and see what is going on because I have been lying to my parents lately because of something my sister has done. I understand that teenagers need there freedom, but you might want to find out some more aobut you son.

Yeah he is going through a small stage in his life but its perfectly normal to keep to yourself maybe you should try trusting him a little more... and if things worsen than ask him questions see what you could get out of him if he doesn't say anything than you should consult a professional but if he insist every things good than just keep an eye on him

its fine. my brother does the same thing. he hardley says a word at home but when hes out with friends(he allows me to come hang out too now) he talks about everything. dont worry about it

My brother's about to turn 15 and he's hitting this stage where its not "cool" to be uber close to his family so instead he's only really social with his friends and his girlfriend's friends. I think its totally normal as my guy friends all did the same thing throughout highschool
