Guys, how much do looks matter to you?

Be HONEST, how important is a girl's looks? Is it more important than her personality/intelligence or less? Sometimes it seems like guys can be completely shallow, but then caring the next moment.

Like for a serious relationship, not a "fling".

To be perfectly honest the looks of a girl is the first thing we notice! I again have to be honest and say that a nice tush is a must.

1. Looks good with clothes on

2. looks good naked

3. gives a good s*x session

4. remember her name or ask for it

5. if he's into her he asks her out again

7. Dump or LTR to marriage.

This is not SHALLOW its healthy and what men want. Any women who thinks she can get a good man any other way is setting herself up for a sad sexless life..

To be honet I go for look but just for the first impression. I rather date an unatractive girl who is funny and really smart than a shallow pretty dumb girl.

Seeing that I'm still a virgin (by choice) looks are not the most important factor, but I'd be lieing if I did say they did not matter. I must be attracted to her in able to take it to the next level, she does not have to be perfect but I must enjoy looking at her. I always focus on her face, rather than her body.

After I'm hooked, I need to find out what she wants in life and what she's looking for in a potential partner. And she needs to be intelligent, I can't dumb people in general. That's where I loose 80% of the women I meet.

but then she must have inteligence and a personality, if not then its just going to fall short

This is what I think (I am a girl).

For girls, looks are about 50/50 (generally). Looks catch girls attention but if on the first date they see the personality sucks we ditch him.

For guys, looks are about 75/25 (generally). Looks catch guys attention and on the first date if they see she has a not so great personality they will put up with it for a while because she is attractive (sorry, it's mostly true). But i also think guys draw the line somewhere and if she is really that bad of a person they ditch her eventually.

It's in their genes, what can ya do.

there not gonna want to get really in depth unless there pretty. it fells good to have a good lookin girl but really good to have one you can stand to be around. the good lookin girls are just to show off. lol. but when your in a decent relationship and your that into her she looks beautiful no matter what

Personality is by far the deciding factor in a relationship. Looks is nothing more than the way to catch our attention. Personality is more important than any other combination of factors.

Win him with your personality, anything else, and the relationship will fall apart.

looks are not important, is any shape. If the girl is happy with the way she looks us guys should respect her. Relationships only work based on personality, people can get bored with looks (its horrible i know) its very hard to get bored of someones personality. If a guy is only interested in looks hes and idiot. Also its to much pressure for girls to look good, i think they deserve a break.

Really looks are not important, a lot of men are to picky, the same can applyy for women do they go for looks? see lol. love is based on personality.
