Guys, if you have an argument with a women and she gets angry and hit you, will you retaliate?

I tried to hit my husband onece, and he just stood there as if nothing had happened. I felt so stupid, I knew it would never hurt him. SO I never did it again.

Instead I found out better ways to retaliate: break his cd´s or pour water into his beer.

No man Darth............you cannot do that! No No no!!!!! I do not believe in violence. As for women hitting their partners, that is unexcusable, I know of some women slapping their big hulks of partners knowing that he will never hit back. That is why you get family violence interdicts now in SA.....to protect men and women against verbal and physical abuse from their partners.

Darth when the B(**&^ch hits you the first time you take her hand, hold it and tell her: "Listen here, if you ever do that again, you will stop existing in my life. I will close the door on you, so sit down, and think hard about what you did and ask yourself is it worth it". If she does it again, leave her, she is not worth your while but a piece of trash.

"Women" is the plural of "woman", so it can't be "a women".

I would never hit a woman, under any circumstances. I'd rather just walk away. It has actually happened, and I did walk away.

No and yes. It is wrong for a man to raise his hands to a woman but if the woman attacked you seriously then I suppose it could be okay under mitigating circumstances.

Again, I have never been confronted with this, but depending on the situation I will probably retaliate.. I hope it never happens.

A woman hiting a man hardly ever has much of an impact.... I've tried on several occassions out of anger and wound up looking like a mop trying to wrestle the big show.... a man should never lay his hands on a woman, no matter what. Some women should though, learn to never push men unfairly they also, although hard to believe, have feelings.

I have a friend that suffered domestic violence imposed on him by his wife.  He has left her about 3 years ago but is still suffering mentally.  He did not make any case against her because of male pride.

WAKE UP GUYS!!!! If woman wants equal rights the have to suffer equal punishment. Send them to jail for aggression!

A woman hitting a man is just as bad as a man hitting a woman. She should not get away with it. If I had to hit my hubby I think that he would report me and would leave me. Just like if he had to hit me I would take the kids and leave. It shows no respect.

Hitting a partner over an argument is bad, and it very wrong irrespective of the emotions involved in the argument, in fact it is extremely disrespectful. Whether a woman does it first and the boyfriend/ husband retaliates is  something that should never takes place. I have never lifted a hand on my boyfriend and never will do.

No because first of all if a girl hits me it probably wont do much damage because i can take a good hit myself.  I might grab her and hold her back so she couldnt do it again though, but definetoy not hit her.  Second of all when the cops show up who are they going to take the word of?  A hysterical wife/gf or a dude that has a bruise?  Thats jail time AND no more g/f.

No, I'll just walk away, I have a horribly violent temper when provoked and would probably kill her with one punch should I retaliate, it would be better to take the high road and save myself from 20 years in a South African prison.

I've fortunately never dated a woman that hit me and have never and will never hit a woman, I have however been slapped through the face a number of times but I probably deserved it every time.

Absolutely not I have had to replace doors in the dim and distant past after putting my fist through them but never hit my wife, I just couldn't hurt her.

I hate domestic violence but i guess if you can dish it out you should be prepared to face the consequences
