Guys, is this the norm for you?

now, I'm 18 years old and I am asking this purely because I'm just wondering is this is the norm for guys.

At church every week we always have a few minutes at the start where we walk around and shake each others hands, and last week we did this as usual, except this guy (acquaintance, not really good friend), while I was shaking his hand said, ''you know what, you get a hug!' and we hugged for what seemed like a longer and tighter than normal hug, than we broke appart and he smiles at me and we went on shaking more peoples hands. I´m just wondering if this is a normal thing for a guy to do, and if so, what would motivate him to do this?

this is a repost, just so you know

  1. Well I don't think he is g*y... but maybe he puts a little too much fabric softer in his pants.

  2. a.....no its not normal to go to church every week

b....was it the priest that gave you an extra special hug???

c....he wants to have a look in your temple

  3. Kinda weird but I'd bet he had good intentions. I have a friend like that lol...he creeps me out even. But he's a good guy!

  4. I think that you were just feeling uncomfortable, he is just one of those friendly guys. When I was in Europe the first guy that tried to kiss me on each cheek gave me the willies, until I learned that is their custom.

Some people are just huggers, some back slappers, some hand shakers. Just be glad you didn't get one of the kissers.
