How does a woman distinguish between men who think she's actually beautiful and the residuum of libido-induced sexual c**p-shooting that every man in our modern society is sort of expected to do? I mean, on movies and TV people joke about how men will sleep with any anatomically suggestive-of-a-female thing, but when you meet men on a day to day basis, they assure you that you're actually attractive.
I ask because I don't honestly KNOW if I'm really pretty, or if men, especially college-aged, just will be constantly be looking to sleep with all girls, and I'm no exception. What do you think?
1. I get asked my number a fair bit, maybe two or three times a week. When classes were in session and I was walking around all the time, it was more like six or seven times a week.
2. This one time a few weeks ago I helped the police arrest this crazy guy they were looking for because he was harassing me and I felt threatened so I told a police officer.
3. Last week this guy told me he wanted to marry me, who I hadn't known for more than maybe a month or so prior, and I had told over and over that I didn't like more than as a friend.
4. I've been taken advantage of a few times, which is kind of sensitive information, but I thought I might mention it.
5. And maybe most importantly, I have brown eyes and skin, black hair, I'm between 125 and 130 lbs., 5'5"-5'6". I am a little exotic looking and my mom's from Brazil so maybe I just have a well-established niche. I don't know.
