There is a place called Cane in Western Australia and it's in a very isolated area. If that's the place you're looking for, it's quite likely that they have no broadband access and their dialup access may also be a bit dodgy too.

I must confess that I've never heard of a city called Keane anywhere in Australia. I've had a look on multimap and searched for it on Google but no mention of such a place.

Do you maybe means Cairns? If yes, you can definitely get Internet access there.
