Guys- I'm in 'hot water'

Question

Guys- I'm in 'hot water' and this ain't no pun.. Bought a house in Lakewood, CO and my wife's shower has a Delta Monitor 1700 Series shower faucet. Do you know if it is pressure balanced? I can't even make coffee in the morning without her getting a cold shower let alone flushing a toilet. Seems like every water faucet that reduces the cold water pressure gives her a cold shower. Should I trash the fixture? Thanks Frank Scheubel
