Guys: Why do some of you think it's cool to yell things at a girl when she's riding a bike, walking, etc.

Whether it's nice or mean. Why do you do it? For example, almost everyday I go for a bike ride. Sometimes, I wear my Ipod, but sometimes I don't. When I do it's because the day before guys will yell stuff. Sometimes mean and sometimes nice. All in all, I find it rather annoying. Is there a purpose or just to try to get a girl's attention?

Guys turn into barbarians when they are with their guy friends and they come upon a pretty female. One guy by himself usually won't yell as often as a guy who is with other guys.

Don't break your stride or acknowledge them in any way and just keep moving.  Don't let this stop you from staying fit.

i dont yell stuff at people because i find it a lil creepy personally, but i hate people who complain about it.  do you know how many ugly people there are who cant find some one who will even touch them let alone kiss them.... everytime a girl yells something at me out a window... even though its trashy of her, it still boosts my confidence.

This tactic rarely (never say never) works, yet the men who practice it are real d-bags who keep trying.  Sorry, you cannot change peoples' bad behavior (unfortunately).

They are most likely just trying to get your attention because they think your attractive and want you to come talk to them, i know that that doesn't work most of the time but some of my friends do it to impress girls, i don't know why.
