Do you have troubles talking to girls (wife, girlfriend, friend, sister etc....) about periods?

Do you think you could go a week in a girls shoes having a period?

Could you survive?

Could you/ can you buy pads/tampons for your (wife, girlfriend, friend, sister) without getting embarrassed and thinking about what other guys thing about you?

Thanks

  1. no

  2. I've been married 18 years now, and while I've learned alot, I am still uncomfortable about purchasing femine products for my wife, but I have done so before.

  3. Didn't we answer this same question for you last week?  Something change since then?

  4. nope, I can honestly say that most girls already are aware that guys know thier stuff on periods. I can easily talk about it with a girl that I've known for some time but I can't ask someone that when i've just met about thier periods, they'd think im creepy!

I think I could, i mean you start when your 13 so hey if a 13 year old can hack it then im sure a man could! and I probabli will survuve but maybe my hormones will be all over the place and i'd get mad quickly. lol

No way, whats it to other people if your buying sanitary towels etc, i would easily go into superdrug and purchase them if i new which sizes i was to buy, it would be more embarrassing if I had to return them becasue I bought the wrong ones, lol.

    Hope my opinions helped.

  5. I wouldn't care what my friends thought but I'd definately be embarrassed.  I tend to avoid the woman's section in places like boots etc.  The one time my sis tried to get me into 'Lush' and 'The Body Shop' I scarpered.  Some things are for women only... trust me.  Plus the fact that women would look at you like some kind of perv if you started picking up tampons and stuff, you know?

And I shudder at the thought of periods.  We guys have enough problems thank you very much.

    Hope this helps.

  6. uuu m ye ye yeah

  7. i don't see that as being any sort of problem

  8. No, I have no problems with any of the things you mention, but that's probably because I grew up with lots of sisters and I'm now a father of a daughter and a guy who has lived with women in long-term relationships for around 30 years. I've seen just about everything that the female body can do and I've discovered it really is not gross or disgusting. It's just the way the world and human beings are.

I'm glad I've never had to deal with periods since they can be a nuisance, but none of the women I've ever been with have viewed them as a "curse" or something horribly ghastly that they must endure every month.

I have no problems buying sanitary items for wife or daughter. Doesn't embarrass me a bit and I don't think at all about what anyone might be thinking of me. (But then that's almost always the case!)

Having said all that, I do recall being a little bit uncomfortable with the subject when I was in my teens and twenties, but the passing of a few years and the gaining of a little maturity put an end to that silliness.

  9. dont go there.   dont buy the stuff for my gf, and we really dont talk about it idk maybe after we're married?

  10.
