Guys help please!!!!?

Question

So it all started when my best friend and I started to like this one cute boy. I have like him since school started like 9 days ago. So today my best friend told him I liked WITHOUT asking me. So he came up to me and asked if I liked him. I fianlly said yes. Then he said its okay and kept hugging me and said I was cute.

So what does that mean????

btw i am in middle school.....And don't say im too young I just want to know.. Thanks guys!!!
