Guys how good is Cabo Wabo Tequila? Is it really good or just a fad?

It's Friday and my wife and I are drinikng Tequila. I have heard some people swear that Cabo Wabo is worht its expense but my wife is saying it's just a fad, she isn't a Sammy Hagar fan but she is saying a guy at her work says it is not a real top rated Mexican tequila.

its good and sammy haggar has no hand in it experience distillers make it only his Co. he is figure head. ANd your pal at work is WRONG. I am guessing he cannot afford it,

that is some smooth stuff. patrone is also yummy.  next choice would be 1800 silver then i will drink the water in mexico and take my chances. LOL

I have to agree with her!  IT is good and another good one is Don Julio.  All good tequila is expensive and for a drunk like myself I just cant afford it.  My buddy always has good tequila and fortunately for me he shares.  I really enjoy the cabo wabo but I don't think it is worth the price.  Probably cause I am a cheap ***!

CW is a great tequila if you have the money to buy it or for a special occasion.  Its tremendously smooth!  patron and don julio are other premiums to try.  I'm not a fan of cuervo or its brother 1800.  For a decent cheap tequila that goes down well try sauza.
