Guys in leotards?

Question

Do guys who do ballet normally wear leotards or unitards to practice? I have not asked my teacher yet, but some people in my class tell me yes some tell me no.

Not to practice they usually just wear like wind pants or jogging pants and a tank..

Boys and men usually wear a clean white tshirt and black tights. Under their tights, they wear a dance belt for support. Most of the time they also wear black ballet slippers.

I do a ballet class and the boys can wear a t-shirt and tights or a leotard under tights.

Both are ok with the teacher.

As a kid- no. most students i have taught just wore a white t-shirt and not-baggy black pants with black ballet slippers

As an adult-  possibly. it is more professional and its lets the teacher see more clearly if you are doing the steps correctly, which is why girls wear leotards.

i would ask the teacher because different dance studios have different regulations for their dress codes.

i always wear a white leotard under my tights.  it's optional but acceptable

The boys at my studio wear gym shorts and a t-shirt. with there gym or jazz shoes
