Guys is a gsxr600 more comparable to a yamaha r6 or a suzuki gsx 650f?

Looking to buy a used bike for my first and i think the gsxr600 is too powerful and more like a inline bike transformed to street. Is this correct? These bikes seem to be the most common on craigslist and im lookin for a gsx 650f

gsxr is more comparable to the r6.

the gsx = katana. i hate banana seats.

i learned on a 600, as long as you ride within your means, you will be fine.

Yes, the GSXR 600 is directly comparable to the yamaha R6.

The Kawasaki ninja 650r (Not a ZX-6 Ninja) and Yamaha FZR 600 compare well to the GSX 650.  There are others, but these are most common.

They're common on craigslist because people do stupid things to them.

The GSXR600 = YZF-R6 = Ninja 6R = CBR600RR, more or less. They're all raceready super sport bikes.
