(Guys question) How do you organize everything 'there' when wearing jammers?

I'm going into my freshman year at high school, and I'll be joining the swim team. The boys on the team wear tight trunks (Not sure if they're called 'jammers' everywhere) and, well, how do you position everything 'down there' so it's not uncomfortable and nothing shows through?

Also, any foods you'd recommend eating or avoiding for competitive swimming?

  1. Dear Shawn.  I think you should wear a speedo, and just let everything lay naturally.  Of course it will show especailly when your swim suit is wet, but that is the joy of wearing a speedo.  And, just eat right.  Make sure your mother serves nutritious meals.  You need all the food groups, and keep your fat content low.

  2. Jammers, like swim briefs (aka speedos), will wind up showing your male anatomy.  It is the way they are designed - to hug your body to reduce drag.  Granted on the jammer it will not be as pronounced as on the brief.  Once you are swimming, the chill of the water will help shrink your package making it less of a bulge on the suit.  Position yourself like you would no matter what you are wearing; I've never had a problem being comfortable in my briefs or jammers.

Regarding foods - complex carbs would be best as well as food high in protein.  You will want to avoid "junk food" as those are empty calories and can weigh you down.

  3. hahahaha.

Oh my god I had to look didn't I?

  4. well uhh... just like keep your junk how it is when you put your suit on. you dont want it sticking out everywhere...

you would want to eat a lot of complex carbs the day before a meet (like pasta and bread and stuff) and you never EVER want to eat yogurt or dairy the day of a meet. also dont drink soda before a meet or during it.
