  1. those are straight up chick books

    no self-respecting guy reads them

  2. OK, but you may not like it . . . I've read the first, and will continue until they're done or they make me crazy, whichever comes first.

I've never seen a man described as "beautiful" so many times in one book.

I don't think the book helps the stereotype of young women being quick to fall in love for no rational reason, or even a good irrational reason.

I wish something had actually happened before the "baseball game" scene, 300 pages into the first book, although the part where he saved Bella from the car comes close.

However -- if the rest of the series is great enough to justify a 300 page leadup to the actual action, I'm willing to forgive and forget.

--EDIT--  And I respect myself in the morning, no less . . .

  3. I thought it was very good. Although Im afraid Breaking Dawn wasn't up to her normal standards at all. I mean, the Volturi didn't do anything!!! And she already kinda played out the whole Volturi coming in the third book, so it was sorta boring. And the ending was just to darn happy. Someone needed to die. I seriously thought that Rosalie was going to die saving Bella, and not Renesmee, just Bella. It would have made sense because everyone said she only cared about the baby, and not Bella. It would have made her a good person, instead of the person we all see her as today. And, if she had died, I could have married Emmett.

  4. what the h**l is twilight?
