it depends. Sometimes I wear boxer briefs, and I think boxer briefs, since they have elastic, takes too long to whip it out and put it back in, so i usually just pull down the front some when im wearing those.

with boxers, i use the fly.

Kids, or guys in a hurry, tend to pull em down.  Older guys tend to use the fly.

Shorts are changing though...no fly there on some...gotta remember what you're wearing, so fumbling around for minutes is not misunderstood!   ha
