Guys what do i do finish pack or start new one?

Question

I missed my pill yesterday as my packet was in another bag and then today i forgot to take them with me again, but when i got home i took yesterdays and todays. I have 2 days left in my pack before my seven day break, but i've just discovered that I've just started my period! what do i do? do i take the last two tablets on sat & sun then have seven days off or do i take seven days from today and start a new pack at the end of it? I dont have to worry about pregnancy as im not doing anything! thanks

I havne't ever taken the pill but I do take medication and if I take medication on "past" days then I get off track. I'd say start on the new pack. My question is, are you supposed to take this medication while you are on your period? You definately don't need to have s*x right now as this the easiest time to get pregnant. TRUST ME!

If you are not sexually active, I wouldnt worry about it too much.  I think your period started because you missed the 2 pills, so I think I would just start the new pack.

in my experience you don't have too,.. pill isn't 100 percent anyway my girlfriend she take birth control pill constantly for the period of  four years still got pregnant she had to go for termination,.

I'd just take 7 days off from today, I don't think it's good to faff once your period's started. Just don't make it a habit and I think you'll be okay.

call the nurse at your doctors office. i was on birth control over 20 years ago and i done forgot my friend.  abstain from s*x, at least till you talk to the doctor.

I would just start over with a new pack. I think you are only supposed to double up once then you have to wait and start over! There should be instructions that come with each back that will have more info. Each pill is different so google the name of the pill you are on and you should be able to find some info! I would just start over though

you have to finish your pack even if you have started your periods so take 1 tomorrow and 1 sunday and do you 7 days break as usual, also you should not take two pills on the same day if you've missed it by 12 hours or more then just forget about it and use a different method of contraception.

Might be a good idea to call your nurse and to read the instructions.

I'd have the break now, then start a new packet, taking those two before you start it. It'd be silly to finish the packet now.

Read the instruction leaflet - that will tell you what to do.  Or ask your pharmacist.  Depends on which pill etc.
