Definitely illegal in Victoria, and don't even think about trying to bring one in unless you want to see the inside of a prison.

you cant buy 1 in  Victoria/Melbourne

you can order & pay for 1 from the USA if you want BUT you wont get it customs will & AFP will visit you for your reason for trying to inport a firearm

why do you want a BB gun for anyway??  It is illegal and if you are caught with one, you face a high fine and/or conviction.

IF you must get one - go interstate - by car, all the way driving and then you can get it over the border. Aust Post scan all parcels and anything remotely looking like a weapon is scanned, opened and passed on to the AFP - Airlines do the same.

Buying from the states will make the seller rich and you out of pocket!

Dunno where or whether you can get bb guns in Australia...however if we couldn't get combat conditioning and TFT striking DVD's in through Mail Customs...and they arent even graphic...simply instructional videos...then I doubt very much that you will get an actual weapon through. Ring up customs and ask them...you dont want your new gun to be siezed by customs as they don't get returned to the seller, and you don't get your money back.

Hey,

Queensland and the NT have relaxed laws concerning BB Guns. While you can't import those cool looking BB guns from America, there are some stores located in those states that openly sell BB Guns. Unfortunately you can't get them send to VIC via Post as they have tough rules against that, however as you live in a country without borders, you can easily "re-locate" these items. This is not even considered "smuggling" as mentioned above, there are no borders.
