I have done that before but I was smart I put the car into my name and just allowed her to drive it that way she couldnt get any funny ideas

Maybe if I were married to her, but otherwise, definitly not! She could easily use it as leverage against you if the relationship didn't work out. (like stop paying the loan payments, or insurance payments, and his name is on the car title, which would royally s***w him over.)
