Say you ask a girl out (or she asks you) with the condition that you give up an addiction or habit (alcohol, drugs, pornography etc.), WOULD you do it?

  1. All depends on what. I guess for me it would be smoking. seeing how i smoke and almost 3 packs a day. yes i could. but most likely i wouldn't. because if she really like me why would she ask me to give up something i enjoy doing?


  2. you're only asking for trouble.  

    a relationship that is based on a condition is not heading down a very promising road and any well intentioned change will probably not be permanent.  

  3. The definition of an addict is someone that indulges in a behavior even with the knowledge that that behavior will bring him/her negative consequences.

    Most addicts will place their addictions above the possibility of a date.

  4. Depends on how hot she was. Then p**n would be easy to give up. As for drugs, I don't use so I could always say I would give that up. As for alcohol, I am not giving up beer for anyone.

  6. Yes and I did. I chew but I dated this girl who hatted it so I stopped doing it. I did it because I loved her and she asked nicely. Needless to say when she had to move back to Japan and broke up with me I started again, but I did stop for almost a year just for her.  

  7. Depends what she asked me to give up.  If, say, she asked me to give up playing guitar/music, then to h**l with her.  Anything else, then...yes. I would give it up.

    but if it was for me to be together with the girl i love then yes id definaetly give it up.

  10. Every guy would do his best to stop, but you have to cut him a break for accepting who he is... He'll stop for you but at some point he has to go back. Not to say forever jsut cut him a little slack every while or so and let him relax... heck give him an *cough s**y... cough* incentive
