Guys your opinion on "Need"?

Question

I've heard the saying "that men need to be need" well this makes sense no one wants to feel unwanted and unneeded.

But then, few people want to needed for absolutely everything. It would get too stressful.

So in your opinion, what level of need should a woman have for you?

not too little but not too much, should be able to take care of hereself but still want/need my help for somethings but not everything
