Gwinnett County / Surrounding Area -- Bathhouse?

okay, this may seem like a really dumb question, but i'm at a loss..

we didn't pay the water bill this month, so we have no water.. as you can imagine, it's irritating when you have to knock on your neighbors' / friends' doors and ask to use their shower.. plus, i have a sort of guilt complex, so that doesn't help..

i've heard / seen that there are bathhouses in asia, and i was wondering if there was something similar in georgia? i figure i can just go to bogan park and pay $7 to use their facilities, but i'd rather find a place that's specifically for it, if there is one..

any help would be fabulous!

  1. An easier solution might be to get some help to get your water turned back on if you can pay the bill in the future.  Here are some places that may help The St Vincent DePaul society Prince of Peace or another large Catholic church, Salvation Army in Lawrenceville or Duluth or try HelpLine at 211 for info on other places to get help.  You'll need ID, proof of income, and proof of residence as well as a copy of the bill.

The only bathhouses i know of in metro Atlanta were places for same s*x meetings not getting clean.  Another thought is to simply offer your neighbor say $5 a day to run a garden hose from their spigot or faucet into your house so you can take a bath, wash dishes, etc.  Cheaper and more convenient than the park.
