  1. Well welcome 2 the world of Volleyball. When you first join it will hurt alot. After a while it won't hurt so bad. That's why other ppl are acting like it doesn't hurt, b/c they're probably use 2 it. Volleyball isn't as easy as some ppl think it is. You think it hurts when you hit the ball, just try and get hit in the face w/ 1. Talk about painful! Especially if you have braces that can make ur lip bleed, if that happens.

  2. i know the ball is hard. When i get home from conditioning my wristst and forearms and red and bruised for about a week. sorrry nop help!

  3. Volleyball  can be painful if you really want to play you have to suck up the pain, don't be a sissy.

  4. try wearing long sleeves.make sUre ur hitting the ball correct. you  should be straigth arms elbows locked. and the ball should be bouncing off Ur arm not hitting it.you dnt swing  Ur arms to hit it. it should be bouncing

  5. ask your teacher if there is a better way for you to hit the ball... or take 3 advil before class! it really shouldn't hurt if your doing it right.

  6. I would suggest buying some new balls for the gym...because the only reason why your arms are getting bruised is because of the poor quality of the balls

  7. You might want to try to where a long sleeve t-shirt.  It'll help take the sting off the ball.  There really is no way of ignoring the pains of the bruises other than mind over matter.

  8. ohh i remeber ma first days in playing volleyball .. i felt that it hurts alooot.. but its just a metter o time .. just u can try to put cremes on it if it reaaaaally hurts

  9. Stop being a cry-baby. Playing sports hurts..

  10. well as u get to be playin the game 4 along time it will stop hurtin but thats how my arms stop hurttin.

or u could just be hittin it on the wrong part of your hand just remember: keep workin at it!!!

  11. It is something you have to get used to. Or you could look and see at sport stores if they have arm protectors.

  12. It only takes a few days for your arms to get use to it! Just stick with it, it will get much better!

  13. Long sleeved t-shirts are a big help.

Other than that, the pain will go away as you play.  When you aren't used to it, and someone with any force hits the ball, it can hurt.

  14. it should just go away after a while. i play v-ball and whenever i stop playing v-ball for a while then start up again my arms always get really red then they bruise then i just dont notice it. so i should stop hurting soon and if hurts that bad u should just quit.

  15. Put bandage in your hands and wrist, make sure you have knee pads for when you dive for the ball.if you can, serve over handed with your hand open. do lots of setting.Practice at home so your body can get used to the pain.use cocoa butter for bruises and scars, when bleeding use vaseline.or you could also use neosporin, but mostly cocoa butter. When your sore bathe in epsom salt.

  16. I would put lotion on your arms right now and then next time in class make sure that you don't swing when you are hitting the ball. Although you might thing that the ball is going harder and different things, its not! Try not to swing if that is your case.

  17. well you should work out andthen it might not hurt so bad if you get some mucile

  18. I would suggest putting some cocoa butter on those bruises. It will take time but soon the pain will go away.

  19. Volleyball is great! The only way to really stop those ugly brown patches that you get on your arms from passing is to practice more and more. The more you practice with the ball  and your forearms, the more your arms will get used to them. So keep on practicing and they will go away eventually. Basically, the bruising is just a temporary reaction from your body from passing a hard volleyball.
