I am a martial art student & looking for good muscle making program. I tried gym but it restricts my flexibility. Please help me to find out a book or informative site where I can get a gym muscle building program for martial artist (which also provide stamina without loosing their flexibility)

  1. hmm do the old school way

push ups.  (recommend the perfect push up tool)

sit ups        (recommend sit up ball)

    weight lifting

    and thats pretty much it

  2. go to www.mattfurey.com

  3. have a search for the Rnady Couture workout, its a good start at the kind of exercises you should be doing

  4. If you DO decide to go back to the gym, I recommend you do maybe 15-20 repetitions with low weight to increase your muscle endurance.

If you can't get to the gym, I would recommend you do some good cardio workouts like pushups, situps (you can also pick up an ab-roller), burpies, etc. just to get your heart rate goin and it'll build muscle if you continue at high intensity no stopping.

If you can, get yourself some weights and stuff like that and do some minor weight training. Try looking at Frank Shamrock training, he is a beaaasttt. Maybe you can try something from this video:

I hope this has helped you in some way in reaching your decision. Good luck.
