Gymnastics coverage without an Auzzie takes precedence over our local Auzzie gal?

Since when has Gymnastics live coverage without an Auzzie competitor take precedence over our local Auzzie gal, Sally McLellan's first shot at an olympic sprint hurdle final. Her race was shown and hour and a half later. Having an Auzzie in a sprint final is as rare as hens teeth, dont get it wrong tonight channel 7!

Not happy Jan! . we shouldnt have to find out the results and hour and a half from them being posted on the internet, get your priorities straight!

Dishonest coverage of most events ("and now it is half-time in the basketball" -- anybody with a radio or computer knows that it finished an hour earlier), not to mention the woeful updates on fringe events that may as well not be happening.

The only other people that will be disappointed that the rights to London 2012 have gone to Channel 9 will be the half-dozen or so gymnastics fans.

They advertised "every Australian medal winner LIVE" & have stopped saying so now probably because of Channel 7's commitment to repeat & repeat all day long their promos for their own disturbing up & coming reality shows, complete with inappropriate-for-daytime-viewing pornographic soundtrack.

Gold medal to Channel 7 for ignorance, insenstivity & ineptitude.

It is said gymnastics draws the most female audience according to stats. Maybe that is why channel 7 was showing it. Well, commercial media is commercial media, there does exist freedom of reporting, it has to serve a purpose though.
