Im very good at gymnastics and I do great a practice but when I have a meet on beam my legs shake nad it makes me mess up. Even today at practice we had to do our routines while everyone watched us which was only like 10 people and my legs started to shake and I wobbled really bad 2 times but I caught my self. Any tips on how I can not shake.

Thanks so much.

  1. Just pretend that you are at home and that you have a gym stadium and practice. You will soon feel alot better and don't look at anyone at training. Talk to your coaches about it. Good Luck

  2. that's totally normal. It stops eventually though, the best thing to do is try to completely block out everything, it's just you and the beam. Hang in there.

  3. just relax. dont look at everyone sitting there, and have confidence that you will do great.

  4. don't be!

  5. just pretend you are alone in a room practicing ur gymnastics!

  6. Be confident. Even if you're not, you have to think, "I am the best" at ALL times. Picture you doing your routine perfectly in your head before you go up there, and block out everything else. Relax and take a breath, and go for it. If you make a mistake, act like nothing happened and keep going. You know how to do it =D Good luck!

  7. i agree with the first girl, just pretend ur alone, and doin ur own thing..youll do fine im sure, dont be nervous :)
