  1. Your not a loser, just believe u can do it. Do it with someone around, tell someone to hold you, and simply do it slowly, no brisk movements, and you ll improve after time.

  2. Yeah this doesn't belong in the swimming section

if your fear is that big then maybe try a different sport? there are some things fears just wont allow you to do

  3. dont worry! the people are there to help you. they will stand there and spot you so if you do fall they will catch you. theres also a lot of mats everywhere thatll cushion your fall. im a gymnast and although i didnt start late, i have a friend who did and had the exact same problems as you. shes still in it and shes actually really good :) you just have to let yourself trust the coaches and assistants and youll be surprised at what your body can do! :D hope i helped <33 :)

  4. if i help u in gymnastics then you will injure your self really badly

    so no help here sorry

    i'm sorry i'm bad

    i'm sorry i'm bill

i'm sorry about all the thing i said to you(like the above)

  5. Just relax, and make friends in your gymnastics class, maybe they could give you tips. Get someone to spot you, its way easier that way. Then little, by little you'll learn to do it yourself.

  6. Dont worry!

Trust me , ive done gymnastics, and i was younger and obviously you have to start somewhere, you cant just be goood

they will be very helpful, everyone at places at gyms and public pools gymnastics are all very willing to help, and they are really motivatin , they will help you step by step and they wont make you nervous

There nothing to be scared about! they'll do it in steps and they'll make it harder each time but you wont notice since its in small steps! explain to them that your a little nervous and its your first time , they'll be very understanding and keep helping you and guiding you

Goood luck , im sure you will do great :)

  7. Work on your flexibility by laying on your back on your bed or a couch, with your head and shoulders hanging off the edge, and reach for the floor with your hands.  As you become accustomed to stretching this way, it will seem more natural that you will be able to support yourself in a backbend.  Also, you shouldn't be bending over backwards into a backbend until you have pushed yourself up into one from a lying position off of the floor, and can do so strongly and reliably.

As for the handstands, lift weights to build your arm and shoulder muscles.  Your gym teacher, diving coach, or even a personal trainer at a gym can show you what to lift and how.  Once you are more confident of your strength, then you just have to practice kicking up hard enough to get your feet to hit the wall.  All it takes is a little trial and error - too hard, and your heels hurt.  Not hard enough, and you won't get up all the way.  Once you have found that "sweet spot" of just enough "oomph" to get you up, you just practice, practice, practice!

Does your gymnastics coach/teacher know that you have never done gymnastics before?  You're right, 13 is kind of old to start, but you can make up for your late start with dedication and practice.

  8. and im afraid that instead of gymnastics you might want to take an english lesson. i can't even imagine what it must be like to not have proper grammar

  9. i actually went through the exact same thing.

All you have to do is overcome your fear.

go on a really soft mat and do a back-arch.

once you've done it once you wont wanna stop!

its a lot of fun. you just have to let loose a bit.

  10. Just close your eyes and do it. You'll get over your fears when you do it once.

  11. just practice in your room doing handstands on a bare wall. get really good music on and HAVE FUN! dont worry about being scared. many gymnasts are when we start.

    do mine?

  12. you shouldnt syche yourself out. Have someone spot you and if you fall then tuck your neck. you probably wont get hurt. If you cant then you should try harder or quit. keep stretching and you will be able to do a backbend

  13. honestly, girl. its all in your head. i promise you once you do something your scared of one time, youll be sooooo happy and will be doing them all the time. i was the same way. just get it out of your head and do it, you know you can.
