im located on long island, ny and am interested in joining a gym. my only problem is finding someone to watch my 2 year old daughter. i was wondering if there are any local gyms or well known gyms that may provide a play area for member's children with a certified person to watch them. also, if there are gyms like this, would any other moms consider this safe for their own child. i wouldnt want to feel like im just dropping my daughter off with just anybody. any advice/information is appreciated :-)

  1. I live in Arizona and all of the gyms here have childcare. I can watch my children on the monitors while I work out. I think it is great and the kids have a blast.

  2. World Gym has child care available. And they are a great place to join. I work for my church, but am in need of more income with an almost four month old. I actually just applied at World Gym because of their Child Care program- the main reason why! My hubby and I work out there, but were skeptical because you know, it is your child. But they truly are great. Wherever you go, don't be afraid to ask questions about the employee's, safety systems in place, and their practice over all. Another option is, check out your local churches. A lot of them offer, mother day out programs- where you can leave your child with them for a couple of hours or about all day.  But regardless, ask ask ask those questions to ensure your child's safety!
