Gynecologist need plz help if can?

ok i think my girlfriend is pregnant and i am trying to go see the doctors about it. i am in search of a doctor in prince georges county, maryland or some one that can help to find out if she is pregnant she has been having cramps for the last month and a half we took a pregnancy test 1 and a half week ago and it came out negative but we took it before the 5 days before her pd. also we if you can help we trying to do this on a private note we dont want her family or parent to find out because we trying to get them out of our business but her insurance is with her dad so we dont want to do it on her insurance so can someone plz help me in what to do. i will give anyone who best answer it 10 points for best answer plz i am really in need of help

Planned Parenthood (www.plannedparenthood.org for the nearest location) would be a great resource for you. They'll do a pregnancy test (urine and blood) and they'll do an ultra sound if the tests come back positive. Then they have pregnancy counselors who will talk you thru all the options you have. If she's under 18 then she will need parental consent (or a court order) if she is pregnant and chooses to have an abortion. Note: the court order is only if she is in a physically abusive home and her parents finding out she is pregnant could lead to them injuring her.

Planned Parenthood is completely confidential and (as stated earlier) if they need to contact you via your home phone they will refer to themselves as your doctor's office or a friend.

Your best bet is to retake a pregnancy test now. If it comes up negative then you are probably safe and she should go see her regular doctor or a gyno because there might be another problem. If it comes up positive and you don't want it on your insurance then go to planned parenthood. This will remain completely confidential and you will get the help that you need.
