H.D T.V settings 720P v 1080P?

i was just wonduring if the difference between 720p and 1080p is a noticble diference as my hd tv only supports 720p for tv/hd gaming is the 1080p setting a huge difference in gfx or not realy noticible

  1. Depends on the size and viewing distance.  You won't be able to tell from further away or with a smaller TV.  http://www.carltonbale.com/2006/11/1080p... has a chart to see how much of a difference it would make.


  2. If you have a large screen TV that is 42 inches or larger, then 1080P would make a noticeable difference, mainly if you have a PS3, Xbox 360, or a standalone Blu-Ray player. At 32 inches you won't notice a difference.

  3. HUUUUGE diff

    And make sure you buy a Blue-Ray DVD player to watch Blue-Ray DVD's, thats a HUUUGe difference also.

  4. for 32" and about 8 ft, its hardly noticeable

  5. You can't notice the difference until you get to 50" at six feet.  Any less than that and it is mathematically impossible for your eyes to tell the difference.
