H.O.T. Magnum Canister Fish Filter Noisy?

Question

I just bought it, i was told to let it run in the water without the filter and then a day or two put the filter in, but either way the filter is making sooo much noise, like if its struggling, you can hear the little motor spinning and something else which is making a loud noise. Not sure what it is, anything would help, thanks.!

I also have one of those pumps. Make sure you fill it with water to the top of the carbon reservoir. Mine ran noisy at first and spit small bubbles randomly, but once all the air is pumped out, it will run quiet. Just give it a day or so. Hopefully your problem is the same thing I went through.

Check the product reviews and see if others have experienced the noise with this product.. if they haven't check to see if something maybe stuck in the motor, and that the filter is fully pumped and running full of water.
