My doctor says I can no longer work , because of multiple surgeries on my neck . What do I do next ? How do I get ssi ? Please help . No smart a-- answers please .

Just call Soc Sec on the phone and they will get you started on the process.  Your doctor will be involved in the application.

You need to apply with the Social Security Administration. Advice your Physician of what you are going to do and get his approval and recommendation before you start.  It normally takes 3 times to appeal unless a major health problem exists which will be obvious to the Physician the Social Security Administration sends you to  to verify the written medical record of your original physician.

After the third time with no results, you will have to seek the counsel of an attorney who specializes in this type oft thing.
