I think that by the way you have written this, you have already found a hobby - peculiar writing.

In answer to your question - by distracting yourself with things that interest you. It is a fact of life that you will have disappointments and you will get over them in time. Don't let  other people assume too much importance in your life - in other words, don't get taken over by them. Keep a sense of self and self-worth. Don't think that you have to have a "significant other" or you are worthless.It is possible to live a meaningful life as a single person if that's what is mean to be.
