Dear Frd, My frd went for H1-b Interview at US embassy but they gave back his passport but they keep his all documents and they said provide some more supporting documents to make us any finely decision about your case., Now my question is what happen if he will provides rest of the documents there is any benefit or chance for him still to get H1-b visa,

  1. If the embassy is asking your friend for more supporting documents, he hasn't been denied, not yet anyway. His case has been put on hold under 221g. If he provides the documents requested, his chances of approval should be very good. The embassy wouldn' t ask for specific documents if they wouldn't affect the decision.


  2. U.S embassy staff are quite straight forward.   Provided that he gives them legitimate supporting documents, he is very likely to get visa.  They have the final authority to issue or refuse visas.

  3. If he provides the documents he should get the visa.

  4. At the moment he has not been refused a visa. He must comply with their requests and hand in the documents they have asked for. Once they have all the information they will be able to make a balanced and fair decision in the case.
