I'm currently an H1B visa holder and would like to visit Canada for a vacation on the second week of May. Do I need to have Canadian visa to do this?

Here are some details regarding my current status:

Citizenship: Filipino

US Visa: H1B

US Visa Expiration Date: Sept. 2010

US Entry Type: Multiple Entries

US H1B Visa Place of Issuance: US Embassy - Manila, Philippines

Philippine Passport Expiration: April 2013

Thanks!

  1. Yes you do need a Canadian Visa.  H1B Visa may be one step higher than a tourist US visa, but both are nevertheless NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS of the USA.  Only US Residents (Green Card Holders / US Immigrants) or American Citizens holding US Passports can enter Canada without a Visa and can stay for 180 days. (or less)
