H1b interview?

Dear frd,

My frd he is going for H1b U.S.A visa in sydney and he shows his previous company in india , now he is providing a company details phone email address everything.

My question is if embassy interviewer people the want to cross check his references then how they will check his previous employer . migh be they will call or they send email something like that...

I don't think thay will be calling anyone.

But be sure that once in the US borders, the police will interview him and ask the same questions (employers contact info,..), he will better keep track of all the information he submit the embassy in Sydney cuz it might be cross checked in the borders.
