  1. situps and crunches barly do anythung, you need to go to gym and use their machines/buy ur own...most people can easily do hundreds of situps, while at gym can only do around 25 crunches each repitition, much better workout

    also you need to loose any fat on ur stomach before the abs will show =]


  2. there is not a specific number. for pushups, start with regular, then move to single hand and inverted for an extra challenge. do every set until you fail. make sure to also eat alot of protien to build muscle. For abs, you also need to do cardio like running, swimming etc. tryu varios ab exercizes like leg raises, inverted situps, and crunches every time you work abs. also you can work abs everyday, but take only work pecs every other day or so. you need to have a bf of 10% or less for visible abs. cardio & dieting lowers bf.

  3. For the push-ups, if you do the really tough kind, you only have to do like a hundred a day and within a few weeks you'll start to get better arms. I can't really say from experience about the sit-ups. Overall, I don't think sit-ups are the best for the body. They can really mess with your neck and back.
