okay, so in may i got blonde highlights done, but the hairdresser bleached it. now i want to colour my hair a light-medium brown. would they have to strip my colour out? or can they just re-dye it over?

  1. if you colored it while you still had the new highlights in,

    your hair would turn out to be light-medium brown with probably light to dirty blonde highlights.


  2. They can just dye over it. The highlights might turn out slightly lighter, but they wouldn't be noticeable. It would also break up the monotony of one tone color.

    you can do that.

    striping your hair will ruin it.

  4. You wouldn't have to strip the color out, unless you have hair dye on the hair that isn't highlighted. If you go to a professional they should be able to get your hair evenly colored, if you do it at home you will end up with a lighter brown highlight where the bleached ones where.
