  1. That's the hamster, WAR CRY!

"The gestation period of a hamster lasts only fifteen and a half to sixteen days. Personally, it was shocking for me to learn this when I had hamsters before. Before delivery the female becomes restless and usually discharges a small amount of blood from her v***a. The male should be separated from the female during this time."

I would seperate the hammies for a few days, just in case.

  2. Unfortunatly theres nothing you can do while shes in labour, she will be fine all by her self, before the birth she'll probably rearrange the bedding to give herself enough space, you need t make sure that the bedding she has is not fluffy becuase it can damage the babies tiny feet by getting tangled, if you have no other bedding, kitchen paper works just as well, and so will a jay cloth or strips of material.its a good idea to clean her out now, becuase after the birth you mustn't touch the cage for about two weeks, but your hamsters might still want to come out and say hello.

during labor she may pace up and down, and you may hear her squeak, theres nothing you can do, she'll be fine and don't panic if you see blood and suchlike, she'll sort herself out. if you hear tiny squeaks its a good sign of healthy babies!

remove the male and put him in a different cage because when the babies come he may and proberly will try and kill them if he is in the same cage.

if you get really worried just wake your dad up and tell him whats going on.

  3. Wll take her away from the male(if they are in the same cage) I do not know what my hampster did when she was giving birth. I was not there.

But leaver her alone. Check on her once in a while to see if she is okay.

And if she IS in labor, then there will be little babbies.

Do not touch them for a few days. Let mama do her job.

  4. Chill, just wake your dad up, he won't be that mad will he?
