Question:

HANGOVER prevention?!?

I'm pretty drunk.

I threw up twice, I feel better.

I told my sister, she said drink lots of water.

What else should I do to prevent a hangover tomorrow?

please answer with any answer besides "don't drink".

I have plans tomorrow and I don't want to ruin them.

  1. eat some bread, anything with grains. pizza, pasta, etc.

    slightly burnt toast is good too (carbon absorbs the impurities that give you a hangover), oh and take some ibuprofen (advil) with a glass of water before you sleep, but DO NOT TAKE TYLENOL.

    and tomorrow morning, drink a glass of orange juice, eat something with eggs, cheese and bacon (if possible), and toast of course, and drink plenty of water. If you can, take a multi-vitamin (mainly vitamin C and B-12).

  4. oddly enough, greasy food will really help.  try to avoid dairy products.  drink a lot of water and pee often (even though people say "don't break the seal" because you'll be peeing all night, you're actually flushing out the alcohol after it's served its purpose.).  lots of water!  hangovers are mostly from dehydration so the more water the better you'll feel.

  5. Get as much sleep as you can.

    Forget coffee, that only gets you an awake drunk.

    Try some dry toast. That is toast that is properly cooked both sides an allowed to cool so it is crunchy.

    Have with butter and melted cheese.

    That will help bind your stomachs contents so you aren't sitting peeing front and aft.

    If you awake with a hang over you will get better as the day progresses, some of us feel like c**p all day and would love to go out and get pi$$ed.

  6. Drink water while your drinking alcohol. I usually drink beer and I just drink half a cup or a full cup of water after every other beer. or after every beer. whichever...

  9. There are a ot of things you can do.

    1.  MAke sure you eat something before you go out, have something nutritious and a little bit greasy.

    2.  Hydrate yourself throughout the night, order one glass of water every drink or two, plus you look cool doing it because people think you are doublefisting two drinks.

    3.  Stay away from Dark Liquor.  The impurities in these drinks cause hangovers, the darker the worse. Cheap Beer also gives you a hangover.  Stick with Vodka or Gin, the more expensive the better.

    4.  Have a snack before you go to bed and make sure to load up on more water.  Let yourself sober up before you fall asleep.
