  1. ive been drinking bottled water my whole life and im fine :D

  2. bottled water is depleted and doesn't have many of the good minerals and good bacteria that tap water has. There was also some concern about one of the contents of the plastic when heated (like left in a car)

The were many results when I Googled  Bottled water harmful, for and against

  3. Tell her this: Bisphenol A, known as BPA, is an organic compound that may only come with bottles labeled 3 or 7. BPA can disrupt the endrocrine system of humans (puberty, growth, and tissue roles). This affects women and young children. BPA pollutes rivers and air. The FDA needs more proof first.

  4. Bottled water is not harmful. The main problem is the container it is placed. Some plastic bottles may leach their chemicals into the water inside it. Also, many minerals like flouride and Mg and Ca are lost in the purification process.

I know this since we have a water purification station.

  5. It depends on the how the water was purified and what types of plastic were used to make the bottle.

Some plastics bleed very toxic chemicals into the water, especially when exposed to heat.  I don't know if they still use those types of plastics.  You'd have to look up what that's all about because I don't know.

I've seen bottles of water for sale in Florida which basically said in the fine print that it was tap water from Georgia, municipal water.  Whether or not that is harmful, I don't know, although, it sure seems stupid to buy bottled tap water.

The municipal water has chlorine in it to help cut down on harmful organisms and molds that might grow due to the presence of sediment.  Here in Puerto Rico, the water pipes break often and at times I can actually smell the soil coming out of the tap.  A few days later, after they fix the break, the water stinks of chlorine.  Chlorine in itself can also be harmful to us.

I've heard that the lack of fluoride in bottle water can lead to the deterioration of teeth, although, fluoride in itself may be harmful in some ways.  I don't know, you'd have to look that up.

Now, distilled water sounds good, huh, especially if you have a kidney stone, but some people might need the minerals that have been taken out in the purification process.

So you see, there's a delicate balancing act in establishing something that's not harmful because everything and anything can be harmful in excess.  Also, it can be relative.

  6. Its if its un purified or something... There are harmful bottles of water mainy found in places like Thailand and Vietnam... those kind of places. They have little egg things in them, i think there tapeworm eggs, im not sure :S thats all i really know
