Listen...the ice caps aren't melting.  People are so misled and crazy saying this all the time.

The only doom and gloom we'll get out of global warming is when it really strikes us where it hurts - in our wallets.

Yes, due to the warmer than historical average climate we have been having here in Missouri the ducks are now migrating two-three weeks later in the year than normal.  This has made it very difficult on us duck hunters because the duck hunting season start/end has not been adjusted for this behavior change which means a lot of hunters are not getting their kills.

It may not be doom but it sure gloomy when I come home with an empty game bag.

yeah i live in adelaide australia and can i say we r in the dead of winter and it has rain yet we have about half a year left of or murry water supply and its cause of global warming. in summer we had a 23 day heat wave of 40˚c and over  which is like 105˚f and over it was so hot

and ....

our ozone layer is slowing gowing away so there is alot of skin cancer

ALL BECAUSE OF GLABAL WARMING

I like the gloom and doom story that the polar ice is melting when there's more ice up there today then there was during the last 7 years.

What fool would believe the ice is melting and soon be gone?  Clearly only people who believe everything they read on the Internet, and who are unable to think for themselves.

No warming in the last 10 years. Hurricanes were worse back in the 1700s. Droughts were worse back in the 1930s. The USA has the highest atmospheric CO2 concentrations and yet it has experienced no more warming than any other location.

Take a look at California--in a severe drought for years, with fires burning constantly.  How about the midwest, right now?  And we're just at the beginning.

All of them!  

Take tropical storms for instance:  Global warming causes more/less storms then average....and it has!  Winters are hotter/colder and wetter/drier as well!  We've had flood/drought, heat wave/freezes, clouds/sunny days....can't you see??!  It's all above/below average!!

No - Remember last year when people were posting about the loss of ice on Greenland?  Why don't you hear about Greenland any more?

I guess it wasn't that big of a problem.  Next year you won't hear any news about the polar ice.  There will be some other doom and gloom scare to worry about.

Where are the hurricanes?  Wasn't global warming supposed to create more hurricanes?  I guess that's another doom and gloom that didn't have any truth to it either.
