  1. I took the precaution of obtaining a photography permit from the SEPTA head office in Philadelphia. I was videoing a train on the Orange line from a station platform, when one of their police officers approached me to say that photography was an arrestable offence. After viewing the permit, he went away  satisfied.

  3. Its part of colorados heritage so people line up everywhere to take pictures. cops may question but as long as you are on public land or have paid to enter an amusment park yer ok

  4. I've heard of police questioning photographers, though it's never happened to me.  Basically as long as you are on public property like a station platform or a side walk you can take pictures of whatever you want.  

    Just make sure not to trespass on railroad property.  Then the police can ask you to leave.

  6. Hate to tell you, but anything you can see from a  public area CAN be photographed without anyone stopping you. You may be questioned, but you can photograph anything you can see from this area; even if you can see into somebody's apartment.

  7. It's terror related. They're afraid the terrorists are going to blow up the trains. Subways, too. No pix allowed.

  8. you should not be there as it could be considered terrorism and it is unsafe
