No.....it never ceases to amaze me how many people criticize the English and do it in the English language.

Nobody else ever seems to see the irony in that situation.

England in particular but G.B., in general. Coming from Ireland I spent a number of memorable holidays in England but in particular 1976 & 1978. The pleasant villages with friendly civilised people ,scones, butter jam,strong English breakfast tea  ahh fond memories. The large "safe" Cities in which you could amble leisurely & take in the sights feeling secure and relaxed. I retraced my tracks in June to relive my previous delightful experiences but alas,never again. I met so few English people I would have been better going abroad. The aggressive glares of non whites, and the  presence of menacing looking gangs of out of control youths who hurled insults at myself and my wife. A once great and proud nation betrayed by your weak "here today gone tomorrow". politicians. Unfortunately it is too late to reverse the cancer.
