HAVING TROUBLE deciding on what CAR to buy/get. "HELP"?

Question

ok well I'm having trouble deciding on what kind of car i should get. i want a fast car. i want to know if the charger 5.7 hemi is a fast car compared to a pontiac gto 6.0, and a bmw 745 4.4 v8 if you know any other fast cars please let me kno. i want it to be automatic and also have good looks. if you have anything faster than those listed above let me kno. also trying to keep it average budget.

What car to choose depends on your budget. From the cars you mention, I assume you have about $30k to spend.

Basically, you won't find much of a difference in the performance of a Charger Hemi and a G8. There's a good review of the Pontiac G8 here:

The BMW 745i will be a little slower than the cars you mentioned, but it'll also be more refined. The same goes for the competing Audi A8. Additional cars, depending on your budget, you might want to have a look at are Mercedes AMG models. Basically all AMG sedans now offer around 500hp, are very refined, arguably good looking, have automatics...and are quite expensive. Audi RS or S models might be something for you, too. Depending on what you think of sequential transmissions, you might also want to have a look at the BMW M5.

On lower budget terms, an Infiniti M45 or G35 might be worth looking at, although they're not quite as powerful as the American models you mentioned. Infinitis offer rear-wheel-drive and automatic transmissions, and a good mix of refinement and affordability.

good grief in this day and age please respect the environment and get a fuel efficient car---respect your own budget and go small. It costs to fill up a big tank and the faster you go the more fuel you use also speeding fines are a hassle and you ay even lose your licence if not your car. There are also speed limits so it does not matter how fast your car can go. .......Good luck

the gto is no longer made, but the pontiac G8 is and is faster than the charger hemi.  it also handles better and stops shorter.  

the bmw 745 will be similar except handle better, drive better and cost 2.5x as much.

I can give you information on the GTO mainly. It will probably be the fastest of the three cars. Considering a G8 GT is faster than a Hemi Charger, as stated in other answers, and the GTO will be a bit faster than the G8 as it has 40 more horsepower and plenty more torque. I've driven a 5.7 GTO and it was FAST! Plus the seats in the GTO have been said to be the comfiest seats GM has ever used in a vehicle, and from my experience, you just melt into those seats. The interior of the GTO and BMW will be better looking than the Charger. The BMW will give you the smoothest ride and best materials but will be the most expensive to keep up. The Charger will be second most expensive to maintain as Dodge dealerships need specially qualified mechanics to work on Hemi engines. The GTO has an LS2 V8 which comes from a line of very reliable pushrod V8 engines, there is no denying that GM produces some of the best V8's in the world as far as performance, fuel economy, and reliability. The GTO is heavy though, so fuel economy takes a hit because of it.
