I know its weird but Ive had one on my inner thigh since I was about eight years old and I just hate it. I know Ive had it over half my life but I want it gone without having to pay to have it removed. I"m scared to cut it and Ive tried tying it off but it wont fall off.

  1. Yes, just tie a piece of cotton thread around it and wait for a couple of days; no pain, no problem.

  2. my fiance acidently shaved one off.  he was shaving his head and shaping the neck area which is where his skin tag is, and oops, hit it.  it bled like crazy.  and then it just grew back.

  3. I had one on the inner part of my upper arm a few years back.  I pinched it off with clean fingernails.  It hurt a little and bled a little but it never came back.  I'm sure this method is not recommended though.

  4. The absolute easiest way to remove this on your own believe it or not is to cut a piece of duct tape and put it over the skin tag. After you bathe but another piece on. Soon the skin tag will just pull off on the tape when you remove it. It won't hurt except for the tape itself feeling weird. Another way is if it sticks up you can actually wrap a thread around the skin tag tying it tight and knotting it, then cut the ends short. Don't remove it and will eventually fall off.

  5. I've pinched them off the side of my neck with my finger nails, making sure that my nails & the area where very clean first.  I've also used manicure scissors to remove one from my husbands back, and have also used the thread method...this takes a longer time, but it works.

  6. I accidentally cut one off of my neck a few years back.... it was pretty painful for a few days.

  7. I had one when I was 12 and my friend at summer camp dared me to twist it until it fell off

it took like 5 days for it to actually come off, but it was like rotting in the process

    it does work though
