HBO movie about a dead ballerina?

Question

I have a friend that saw a horror movie or drama thriller in HBO when she was younger, she thinks it's a 1980s movie but she is not sure. The movie is about a young girl who's a ballerina,and she gets mad at her father cuz she thinks he didn't go see her dance recitle and dies in some kind of car accident then she starts haunting her younger sister or something like that. That's all she could remember about the film, i've been looking for this movie for a while and can't seem to find the name of it....does anyone know what movie that is?

IMDb synopsis:

A man (Patrick Bergin) that is unable to express himself emotionally, loses his 11-year-old daughter in a car accident after missing her performance in a ballet due to his over-ambitious job dictates. Gradually his guilt becomes worse, threatening his relationship with his wife (Valerie Mahaffey) and second, younger daughter. He happens onto a blind woman (Vanessa Redgrave) who has the gift of being a seer. Her country home is occupied with the lost souls of children, including the man's daughter, and he finds himself having to work through his feelings in this setting.
