  1. C3H4O2 is acrylic acid; CH2=CHCOOH is it's structure. It's an acid with a pKa of 4.25, which is between the pKa of succinic and benzoic acids. It's relatively a weak acid. The formula you gave is for the acid in it's neutral form, therefore, it is not a salt.

    pH is nothing but hydrogen ion concentration in a solution.

    pH = -log[H+].
