My sister has taken severl pregnacy tests and all positive at 12dpo. She went on 12dpo and had blood work done and her quantitative was 23 and her progesterone was at 10 her OB put her on progesterone suppliments yesterday. However, this morning she took another test and the line seems to be a little bit lighter? Does this mean she is miscarrying? Or is there still a chance it will get darker now that she is on the progesterone? She went back and had more blood work done today and then again on money, but since its saturday she won't be able to get her results until monday afternoon. What are you thoughts? I also wanted to add today is when her period was to start so far no bleeding or cramping. Thanks

  1. You can't go by line color of an HPT to predict how the pregnancy is doing, especially this early in pregnancy.  The BEST way to determine how her pregnancy is doing is to have beta blood tests.  If the numbers are doubling, she's doing fine.  She shouldn't make any assumptions and wait for her bloodwork to come in on Monday.

    Good luck.
